Nina Petronzio is President and Head Interior and Furniture designer of Plush Home Inc., a full-service interior design firm and furniture manufacturing company based out of its Melrose Avenue showroom in West Hollywood, California.
In 2000 Nina founded a boutique design firm focusing on luxurious and complete turn-key interior design and home remodeling services. Known for her transitional style designs with worldly influences, she also launched her high-end, custom furniture line that same year.
After successfully completing major build-outs and design projects in the Los Angeles area, in 2003 Nina completely remodeled a Melrose Avenue storefront that would become Plush Home’s flagship showroom. The West Hollywood showroom showcases her custom furniture designs as well as functions as her home base for domestic and international design projects.
With a force of seasoned interior designers, staff-architects, contractors, CAD engineers, and landscape architects all working cohesively under the same roof, Nina’s award-winning firm has established its niche in the design world by creating warm, inviting spaces that have her unmistakable touch of understated elegance.

“I always consider the surroundings” says interior designer and Plush Home founder Nina Petronzio, “whether it’s a hillside estate or a high-rise condo, I begin each project by gathering as much information as possible about the property, particularly the original architecture and then work from that point of view.”

Nina’s diverse portfolio includes the complete remodel of an actors 15,000 square foot Beverly Hills ranch style residence, adding a new wing to a powerhouse attorney’s charming New England style cottage, Brillstein Entertainment’s contemporary-chic New York office in the Tribeca Building, Leonardo DiCaprio’s production offices in Los Angeles, and a complete renovation and interior design of a charming 1800’s London residence.
While each project varies in style, the one constant is a classic yet fashion forward sensibility, a loyalty to clean lines, and a choice of exquisite materials. Daughter of renowned sculptor Robertino Petronzio, Nina cites her European roots and artistic family background as a basis for her aesthetic.
To provide her clients with a concrete sense of what the end result of their project will look like, exact dimensions of the furniture layout is presented in a 3D plan. Fabrics, paints, surfaces, wood finishes, area rugs, artwork, and accessories are all accounted for.
Home Building | Re-Modeling
“If done right, even the most major addition or renovation should appear as though it has always existed” Nina says of her re-modeling philosophy.
Her goal with every job is to outline all particulars beforehand. Every surface, appliance, outlet, and finish is specified for the licensed contractor so that the actual building phase is conducted accurately, smoothly and without confusion or overlooking of important details.
Nina’s firm provides complete project management throughout the entire contracting phase and assures a high level of attention to craftsmanship and detail. “I like to be involved in all areas of the design for a property down to the landscaping, pool, and outdoor living areas” Nina says of her design/build philosophy, “It is the most effective way to guarantee a cohesive and complete look for the client.”

The basis on which Plush Home sets its tone is found in the fine quality of materials it uses as its manufacturing ingredients. “We don’t skimp on what you don’t see,” says Nina of her line which uses FSC approved woods, exceptional manufacturing practices, hand ties, high quality foam cores, and generous amounts of goose down in their upholstery fills.
